App Development

I wanted to try and release one more app this year alongside Poe but I’ve found myself doing the ADHD thing where I pick something up and put it down before it’s done due to a lack of interest.

I’m currently working on an app that lets women imagine their dream wedding using AI image and video generation. Since it’s not something I’m particularly interested in, I’m trying to stay motivated but focusing on enjoying coding, learning iOS Swift UI, and learning how to use AI APIs. I don’t think it’ll be ready before 2026 though.

Obsidian Plugin

I recently fell in love with the note taking app Obsidian. I’ve always used Google Keep for my notes but found myself wishing they were more organized and connected so I could reflect on them more rather than just a long list of disconnected items. Obsidian caters to my minimalist side with a clean interface that works on plain markdown files (just like this website).

It also has a great plugin system so I started building a plugin that lets you chat with and about your notes using a local LLM on LM Studio. You can follow my progress on my github.

Neovim

I also started learning neovim. I feel like I’m a little bit late in learning it but I’m enjoying the challenge and it’s super satisfying being able to climb around a document without using a mouse.

3D Printing

I also recently got a 3D printer and some Arduino parts. I always make software so it’s a good change of pace to try and make things in the physical world. I’m going to try and make a kind of R2D2-like droid that roams my apartment and get its intelligence from a local LLM on my home network.
